Expand description

A discrete batch of systems to execute.

Variants

Init

The very first initial setup.

Input

Receive inputs.

Response

Respond to inputs.

Schedule

Setup scheduler signals.

PreSimulate

Prepare for simulation by initializing states.

Simulate

Simulate game logic.

Flush

Flush changes in the game logic.

Handle

Handle events dispatched during game logic.

Also handles deletion events, but not post-deletion events.

DeleteChild

Execute child entity deletion requests.

This is used when parent and child entities are deleted in conjunction.

Command

Execute entity creation/deletion requests.

CreateChild

Execute child entity creation requests.

This is used when parent and child entities are created in conjunction.

PostCommand

Execute entity post-creation/post-deletion requests.

PreVisualize

Prepare resources for visualization, including debug info.

Visualize

Read-only access to core game logic.

This is used for client rendering, backup creation process and other roundup systems.

PostVisualize

Flush results of a visualization request, e.g. produce the save artifact after the fields have been populated in Visualize.

Should always be Self

The inverse inclusion map: attempts to construct self from the equivalent element of its superset. Read more

Checks if self is actually part of its subset T (and can be converted to it).

Use with care! Same as self.to_subset but without any property checks. Always succeeds.
